Resurrection
8 August 2007
Wow, it’s been almost a year since I last updated this site! Lots of excitement in my own life, so I couldn’t take much in the Sim department! I did have a rather busy neighbourhood going, but then my OFB CD cracked and I had to reinstall the game to play only with Uni and NL.
God, it’s painful! I so want OFB, but it’s not available where I live any more. Of course, I have a new neighbourhood, along with a new Legacy family. Their name is Tenner. The founder, June, has two children, Dana and Mark. Dana is the heir.
June is a single parent, and cash are still pretty tight in the Tenner household. Dana has a part-time job after school to do what she can.
New neighbours have moved in next door, a bunch of rather mysterious people. They’re calling their lot Torchwood, and no one really knows what they do. There are three of them, Jack, Toshiko and Ianto, and they have a lot of money. I have a feeling they are going to be very entertaining!

Legacy reborn!
2 September 2006
I did the unthinkable—I deleted my Legacy family in generation five!
I was getting so sick of them—they were too rich and there were too many of them. Anyway, there’s a brand new legacy now, the Lake family! Faith Lake was the founder, and *cough* I cheated a bit. I had her have a kid with Jan Carlsson, who’s one of the Sims I made. I know that’s against Legacy rules, but what the heck, all the townies were too ugly.
Anyway, Erik is on the verge of teen-hood now. Jan saw Faith making out with Benjamin Long (ew! I know!) and he stamped out of the house.
As for poor Jan, he has to cool his heels till his future partner safely negotiates childhood and grows up! It’s so hard when you have to plan so many lives!

Legacy generation… um… what?
22 June 2006
*cough cough* It’s been a long time since I updated. That’s because I took a long break from Sims. As for my Legacy family, I deleted them. In fact, I deleted the entire neighbourhood because I got sick of them!
Was up to generation 5 in my Legacy family, but it was getting out of hand. Moral of the story: make only one offspring per generation in the Legacy next time.
Since I deleted the neighbourhood Eternal City, there is a new one called Andara (the official name for the Eternal City). It has two families at the moment, the Carlssons and the Fullers.
Sabine and Otto Carlsson were the founder family of Andara. They had four kids: Jan (of course!), Kristina, and the twins Evert and Mia. It was a tough job playing this family of six because only Otto was going out to work. When Sabine was not busy having and bringing up the kids, she was running a home business selling flower arrangements. Money was always tight.
Now Jan and Kristina are grown up. Kristina went to university, dropped out, and is now a single mother with a son, Henrik. Jan has also moved out, and his future is, of course, related to the Fullers
Helen and John Fuller have two kids: Laura and Stephen (aha!), both teenagers now! I’m trying to get Laura fixed up with Evert Carlsson.
And I have to SOMEHOW get Stephen and Jan to meet and fall in love! *sigh… what a romantic* (And in case anyone’s interested, I made Otto and Sabine really ugly so they’d have ugly kids, but Jan is quite pleasant to look at. Stephen, on the other hand, looks like a… well… not too good!)
But with the Fullers and Carlssons breeding with each other, I think I’ll soon need some more families in the neighbourhood.

The Legacy: Generation 3
6 March 2006
Well, generation 3, Maya, grew up… in fact, she’s on the threshold of old age. She seems to have had a rather full life. Following in the footsteps of her late granny, the Legacy founder, who died when Maya was a baby, she entered the politics career track and reached the top.
In between she managed to have and sort of raise three kids (Sara, the heiress, Alicia and Yazid). She also managed to have a long-standing affair with Jan Lindahl, and two of those three kids are his!
She married Seth (I forget his original surname) and it’s a tribute to that man’s trust that he has never questioned why Maya produced two very pale kids when he is certainly not pale himself!
Generation 2, Yazid, finally died at 85. He was on a platinum high since mid-elderhood, so he was greeted by the Grim Reaper with a glass of fruit punch as two hula zombies danced for him. Somehow I don’t think he’ll be bored in heaven.
Anyway, his grandkids are gearing up to carry on the glorious Kassem legacy. Two are in teenage, and one is still a kiddie.

Tangled lives
25 February 2006
Eternal City is getting too confusing for me now. I cannot keep track of who’s married to whom any more!
My first-born Legacy generation 3, Luc, was supposed to move in with the youngest Lindahl offspring, Vendela. But he fell for Laci Ying as well, and got her pregnant. As that was happening, Vendela was sneaking past Luc’s door, with a big bouquet of roses to thank him for a dream date, and she happened to peek in at the window (what a voyeur, I swear!).
Anyway, now Vendela walks by at periodic intervals knocking Luc’s trashcan over. I think she might ultimately settle for Xen Emon, and they might get married even.
I’d actually forgotten about the existence of the Emons… or the Anhels, which leaves poor Rehan doomed to be a child for ever! And I really have to play the Lindahls if I want to bring up Jan, who I intend to have a significant role to play in the production of Legacy generation 4 with Maya Kassem.
