Tangled lives
25 February 2006
Eternal City is getting too confusing for me now. I cannot keep track of who’s married to whom any more!
My first-born Legacy generation 3, Luc, was supposed to move in with the youngest Lindahl offspring, Vendela. But he fell for Laci Ying as well, and got her pregnant. As that was happening, Vendela was sneaking past Luc’s door, with a big bouquet of roses to thank him for a dream date, and she happened to peek in at the window (what a voyeur, I swear!).
Anyway, now Vendela walks by at periodic intervals knocking Luc’s trashcan over. I think she might ultimately settle for Xen Emon, and they might get married even.
I’d actually forgotten about the existence of the Emons… or the Anhels, which leaves poor Rehan doomed to be a child for ever! And I really have to play the Lindahls if I want to bring up Jan, who I intend to have a significant role to play in the production of Legacy generation 4 with Maya Kassem.
The Legacy: Generations 2 and 3
20 February 2006
Yazid Kassem achieved his lifetime want of becoming a professional party guest. Now he’s ridiculously happy all day, cleaning bathtubs, playing on his computer and interfering with his kids. And if I don’t keep a close eye on him, off he trots to answer the perpetually ringing phone!
I wish he’d die—his job on this planet is done.
His kids Maya (the heiress) and Luc got into private school. Luc is now a teenager. He’s having it off with two local lasses… sigh.
As for Maya, I’ve already rolled the dice for her. She’s to have the Family aspiration. I’m really not looking forward to having little Sims running about. Hopefully by then Yazid will be a ghost and will scare the living daylights out of them!
I like being Sim God!

Legacy: Generation 2
11 February 2006
Sara Kassem, my Legacy founder, died at the age of 73. As the Grim Reaper gave her her final marching orders, son Yazid stood by howling his head off.
But life goes on. Yazid married his university lover Melanie Wolosenko and soon enough, the third generation popped out. As you can see here from the profusion of pink, it was a boy. They called him Luc. However, for various reasons, the designated offspring to carry on the legacy is not him, but his sister Maya. You can see her here, learning a very important life skill, potty training.
With Sara’s death, the number of family friends has fallen drastically, and Yazid and Melanie have their work cut out with their careers, bringing up the kids and keeping their spirits in the green. It doesn’t help that Sara’s ghost roams the premises, scaring her family. I notice their bladder control is weak when faced with spirits.
Well, at least they have a nice house.

Another University graduate!
8 February 2006
Aizel Anhel graduated college!
Well, all right, I cheated a bit—I used the motive decay cheat to freeze his motives. He spent all his time between classes building skills. As a result of which he has maxed out all but two skill sets.
He’s moved back to the Eternal City and his university lover Aiyana Phelps has moved in with him. She brought in a whole lot of money (close to 17,000 simoleons), so if you have a Sim getting friendly with her, I’d say go for it!

No bills for the Emons!
7 February 2006
The Emon family’s letterbox has disappeared! I have no idea how—it was just gone one day. Maybe it’ll come back the next time I reload the game, but so far no other bugs have crept in because of it.
The two Emon kids—Zea and Xen (that’s pronounced Chen; Why? you ask. Well, I don’t know… I made up the name and decided it should be pronounced that way!)—are now teens. I managed to get them into private school, even though the headmaster (BJ Ryan this time) was such a stuck-up arsehole! I wonder if this private school business is more difficult in Nightlife.
Both the Emon parents want another kid, but I think it’ll be too boring to do the baby-toddler-child thing all over again, even though I can’t wait to use the custom baby content I downloaded!
